Watch water use. Ring in Earth Day by opting to lower your water consumption. From reusing towels to knocking minutes off your shower, there are plenty of ways to save water and save on your bills!
Reduce plastic. Plastic often ends up in our oceans, harming and damaging marine wildlife. As our oceans are so important, it becomes more evident that we need to cut back on our plastic addiction. Say no to straws, ditch the plastic bags, and reuse water bottles when you can.
Follow a plant-based diet. A vegan diet dials down our insane consumption of resources like fresh water, oil, coal, land, and the rainforests. What’s more, animal agriculture is responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions that the exhaust from all of the transportation methods combined. Switching to a plant-based diet saves 1,100 gallons of water, 45 pounds of grain, 30 square feet of forests, 20 lbs. of CO2, and the life of one animal per day!
