As the weather starts to warm up for spring, it is the perfect time to start looking for fun and exciting events that you can do with the whole family in the local community. Make sure to mark your calendar for these fun events that people of all ages will enjoy.
The Graffiti Run in Fresno is happening on March 1 ^st  at North Friant Road in Fresno. Come dressed in all white and get ready to be transformed into a running piece of art. There are multiple “Graffiti Zones” throughout the course, where staff, volunteers, and sponsors will cover you in color. Each zone is dedicated to a different color, leaving you to cross the finish line with not a hint of your bright white clothing left. After you finish the run, you will not want to miss out on the Colorful 5K Party. There will be plenty of music and dancing, as well as four different color throws, where you can decorate your clothes even more. Tickets are $50 before the run, and $55 at the door.
If you are looking for a way to have fun while giving back, you will not want to miss out on the JDRF Walk at Woodward Park on March 28 ^th . The walk is one of the best ways to help raise money that is needed for type 1 diabetes research and to help show your support for the millions of people who are living with the disease. JDRF helps to plan, influence, and deliver hope and life changing therapies that make type 1 diabetes less of a burden.
