We’re halfway through February, but there is still a lot going on! With the Farmers Market and the return of the Jazz Festival, we suggest you and your family head over to Clovis and join the lively crowds for a swingin’ weekend at these local events.
Year-Round Farmers Market
Every Saturday, local food producers set up shop for all your fresh cooking needs! From 8:00 to 11:30 a.m., come to the corner of Pollasky and Bullard Avenues with your grocery bags and shop from the finest local vendors. From Matthew’s Honey and Bee Pollen to fresh lobster provided by Clovis Clipper Crab Company, and all the fruits and veggies in between, your local farmers have you covered—year round!
The 28th Annual San Joaquin Valley Jazz Festival
The Central Valley’s top jazz fest is back for it’s 28th year! Hosted by Buchanan High School and Alta Sierra Intermediate Jazz programs, and happening all at the Shaghoian Concert Hall, come hear this year’s best jazz musicians break it down live all day long on Friday, February 19 and Saturday, February 20, 2016. This year’s Saturday night concert at 8:00 p.m. features the Walter Smith III Group.
Admission for day events: $10 at the door
Admission for Saturday night concert: $15 general, $12 for seniors and JazzFresno members, $10 for students with school ID
